Alchohol Inks Workshop 1st March.

Our much awaited second session for Alcohol Inks took place on Saturday March 1st. And what a day!! The small hall at Littleworth was at capacity with over 20 attendees, which included a few non-members, plus members who hadn't been able to attend the first session.
Carole and Sheila demonstrated the alcohol inks, using various papers, as well as technique. They are always so well prepared and provided materials for anyone who needed them- which is particularly important with media that is new to many attendees.
Everyone had ample time to experiment or develop their own ideas, always supported by Carole and Sheila who somehow seem able to get around and chat to everyone.
As well as learning about new media this is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with other artists to share ideas and information. Complimentary scones and plenty of cake and biscuits along with tea and coffee was available throughout the day.
Everyone left with a great sense of achievement , and looking forward to the next workshop with something new to try or an opportunity to extend and develop skills.
A big thankyou to Carole and Sheila who put in such a lot of time and effort in planning and delivering these days. Long may they continue.
