Artist in Residence

Today, 4th October, we welcomed our artist in residence, Shane Wiseman. Shane has visited the Art group in the past with demonstrations and workshops. He is currently visiting SAG for a few sessions  to offer support and advice to all us artists, while we work on our own chosen art work.

Today, Shane gave a short demonstration of painting autumn leaves in watercolour- reminding us what a colourful and interesting time of year we are approaching. During the rest of the afternoon session, Shane chatted to each of the members, discussing their work , offering advice, answering questions, and generally supporting the work that is in progress for each person. 

Shane will be available again on Tuesday 8th November, and again on Friday 27th January.
