During lockdown, its not always easy to get out and about to sketch in situ. 

A useful tactic the Stoke Urban sketchers have been using, is to take images from the internet ( Google familiar landmarks for street view images). These then become the 'view' to draw or paint. 

It is obviously not as 'real' as visiting a place in person, but can be useful to practice drawing skills at a time when travelling is strongly discouraged.
