Life Drawing
Since pre-historic times artists have sought insperation from the human form seeking to reproduce it in drawing, painting and scupltre. The Greeks and Romans considered this purest form of art whilst as late as the 19th century many of the great academies required it as essential pre-requisite to painting.
Today the human form continues to inspire the modern and often most radical artists.
Under the direction of local artist Peter Fletcher, life drawing sessions take place at Great Bridgeford, Villiage Hall, Nr. Stafford each Friday during the season from 9.30am to 12.30pm, cost £10 per session.
