I like to work in the dry media of pencil/graphite and soft pastels. I usually use my own photographs as starting points for art work, as these hold a personal meaning to me. I think of my camera as a kind of sketch book, where I can explore composition and colour.

My latest project it developing watercolour washes on ink drawings. I have found birds an ideal subject. I will soon have my own flock!
